Senior Java Backend Developer

Help develop, maintain and support our Java/Tomcat/Oracle backend that supports our Golden Tee platform
Help develop, maintain and support our Java/Spring/Postgres DynamoDB mobile API platforms
Help develop, maintain and support a number of internal and customer facing websites written in Java and JSP
Work with a team including web designers/programmers, Marketing and IT departments to achieve web based objectives on customer facing Java sites.

Experience building and maintaining high availability/performance backend systems supporting many simultaneously connected clients
Strong background in server side programming including Java/J2EE and JSP
Experience using Tomcat (with connection pooling) and Spring
Ability to design and implement restful API services
Strong expertise in database interaction, SQL, data modeling
Experience with supporting running applications in cloud and on-premise environments

3-7 years

Experience with Amazon DynamoDB or equivalent NoSQL database experience
Experience with Amazon AWS, S3, Elastic beanstalk or similar framework
Experience with Oracle DB, PL/SQL programming and relational database design
Source Control – Perforce preferred but SVN, GIT or equivalent is acceptable
Linux skills – basic commands to navigate, change permissions and perform basic scripting
